Located on the former site of Twin Oaks Day Camp in Warrington, Lions Pride Park features Lindy Communities Kids Mountain and the Toll Brothers Grove, completed in 2020, as well as a wetland habitat which will be completed later this year.
The Board of Supervisors approved a naming rights agreement with Lindy Communities at a recent board meeting. The $1.7 million project, which will help Warrington Township centralize its recreational activities, will feature:
- A multi-purpose room that can accommodate up to 100 people
- A lobby/pre-function area
- An outside covered porch and patio area
- Additional funding for the Lindy Community Center will come from a $500,000 Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce and Economic Development.
